Consumed have been consistently underwhelming fans across the globe since 1994.
Back in the day, the band were signed to Fat Wreck Chords and released an ep (1998's Breakfast at Papas) and an album (1999's Hit for Six) through the label. This gave them the opportunity to tour all over Europe and America with a number of better and more attractive bands.
Inexplicably, their song "Heavy Metal Winner" was featured on the video game Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2.
In 2002 they released their second album, Pistols at Dawn through Golf and BYO records. Reception for the record can only be described as acceptable, and a year or so after its release the band broke up.
In 2015 Consumed got back together to play a handful of shows and reminisce about how much better everything used to be. In 2018 their ep "A Decade of No" was released through SBAM and Umlaut records and a video was released for the song "What Would Cliff Burton Do?".
In all likelihood, the band will continue to play, and may even record more songs, for as long as continence allows.
Please be supportive, they are trying their best.
