Since 1996 Eastfield have been churning out their unique brand of ‘rail punk’: tuneful, catchy songs punctuating socio-political comment with tales from the marshalling yards and shopping precincts of the world. Despite early reviews describing Eastfield as 'what the Ramones would have sounded like had they come from Birmingham', there has never been any attempt to copy styles or follow trends. In 24 years Eastfield remain fiercely independent from being influenced by the established music press, record companies, agents, stylists or chord books. Eastfield are Eastfield and will always sound like Eastfield. Peace and Love.
