In addition to our work with The Booth Centre this year, we are delighted to confirm that we will also be teaming up with local foundation Core Values.
They are a small, self funded, charitable organisation started by a group of like minded hardcore punk fans. They specialise in raising funds and essentials directly for the homeless community in Manchester and surrounding towns. They have a real passion for live punk music and trying to assist people less fortunate than themselves so they thought why not mix the two to bring about some positive change and action. It’s a pleasure to welcome them on board at MPF2017.
At this years event, we are asking that you bring T-SHIRTS for their collection. Do you have any old band/gig shirts that no longer fit or that you no longer want? Please bring them along and donate to this cause, they will then be distributed to people currently out on the streets.
The collection will be situated within Font Bar, next door to Sound Control. Any amount that you can contribute is hugely appreciated but please, only bring t-shirts for this one.
