MPF2018 – Everything You Need To Know

With MPF2018 nearly upon us we thought we’d gather all the information that you might need. Thank you so much for buying a ticket for the festival. We hope that you have a great weekend!

Have a listen to our spotify playlist whilst you’re reading… LINK

The wristband exchange is at Gorilla this year. This is the only place that you can pick up your wristbands. It is open from 4pm Thursday and midday on both Friday and Saturday. You MUST bring your e-ticket with you, either printed or on your phone, to collect your wristband.

“I can’t go anymore, can I sell my ticket?” Yes, please read HERE.

You will be given a free programme when you collect your wristband, because we are lovely. The programme covers all the information you could possibly need for the weekend. If you want to read it now it is available to download on our website HERE.

The running order will also be on our app which is available on both Android and iPhone. The app allows you to select the bands you want to see and will notify you just before they start. We will also use it to keep you up to date with any changes over the weekend. It is very good, even if we say so ourselves. Get it HERE (iPhone) and HERE (Android).

We have also produced a clashfinder to help you work out where you want to be and when. Check out and download the clashfinder HERE.

Venues will get full. We cannot guarantee your admission to see every band due to the limited capacity at each venue.  To minimise the risk of missing a set, please ensure you get to the stage early to avoid disappointment.

We want MPF to have a positive impact on the world outside of punk. With so many people gathering in one place we feel that MPF is a great opportunity to support people who are less fortunate than ourselves.

The Booth Centre is here to bring about positive change in the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and help them plan for and realise a better future.

We are holding a collection for Booth Centre at Gorilla near the wristband exchange. Find out what items they would find useful HERE.

Teatime Collective are returning to sort out lots of banging vegan grub for everybody over the weekend. They will be based at The Thirsty Scholar both Friday and Saturday. Be sure to swing by, say hello and get your fill. They will be flipping burgers and will have lots of amazing cakes too!

Teatime Collective have just opened a new cake shop in the city centre, operating out of one of our favourite shops in town, Rockers in the Northern Quarter. Check them out HERE.
