Blasting out an infectiously raucous wall of sound, One Eyed God are a 5 piece combo and have been a regular fixture on the festival circuit since forming in 2011. Fusing punky ska, reggae and dub with sax-driven melodies and Balkan bouzouki licks, the music embodies the carnival atmosphere of a festival with lyrics that showcase both the reality and the absurdity of life.
The band have gained a reputation and following as an energetic live act on the UK festival scene. The energy is driven by a focus on stagecraft and performance, and an unwavering recognition that the crowd are as integral to the show as the band.
2017 saw many festival highlights including sets at Boomtown Fair, Bearded Theory, Equinox and Feral Fest in the UK, as well as European shows including Earthshaker in Holland and Festival le Son du Porte-Voix in Arras, France.
2018 has seen the band continuing to grow and develop both sound and craft, whilst maintaining a strong DIY ethos. Gigging and touring extensively in the UK and Europe, One Eyed God returned to headline the Festival le Son du Porte-Voix by popular demand and received 'heaps of votes' in the Green Gathering's Best Band of 2018 survey.
