#MPF2022 : WELCOME!
Well it looks like we’ve made it. Imagine that! The last few years have been strange, the last few months have been a new level of hell but HERE WE ARE! We are ready for you, we are ready to see some of the best bands in the world and three years in the making, we are ready to experience the next edition of Manchester Punk Festival!
Thank you so so much for all of your support, thank you for talking about us, sharing our stuff, checking in with us, basing podcasts around us and making this such a worthwhile process. It doesn’t go unnoticed and genuinely means the world!
Here is the information you need:
WRISTBANDS
Wristbands are available from The Union each day from midday! Your confirmation email is your ticket, please bring some ID with you to help avoid any problems. Don’t stress at us, don’t panic if you have a problem, we will help with any issue but that may require some patience and understanding. There will be a queue, you may have to wait in line, just please bear with us.
TWICKETS/RE-SALES
If you have sold your ticket but receive this email, it helps us massively if you can forward on to the person you sold it to. If you purchased a ticket from someone, they may have informed us of the sale, they may not. Please bring ID and/or the original confirmation email that the buyer should have forwarded to you. The tickets will be under your name IF we have been notified of the sale but don’t worry if not, we’ll sort things out if you bring what we’ve asked for. We have to be thorough with our checks so again, please bear with us on the day.
APP
Our app is back. Search Manchester Punk Festival in your App Store. If you have the one from 2020, just log in to that one again! Share some pics on it, let us know who you’re watching, set yourself band reminders. Make use of it because it can be a real helpful reminder of times and updates over the weekend when you’re sat waffling nonsense at someone on the street outside. APPLE | GOOGLE
CLASHFINDER
We urge you to stay up to date with Clashfinder online. Avoid using print outs because things are changing daily. This and the app will be what we update if anything changes over the weekend. We’ve tried, post Covid event world isn’t easy. Check it out HERE.

SIGNATURE BREW
Our favourite independent beer company have some stock behind the bars. Help their business by checking what/if the venues have and buying some, they rely on yours and our support to make MPF financially viable for them.
FOOD
Teatime Collective are based outside Thirsty Scholar near Zombie Shack. They will be selling some great vegan food. Gorilla are also offering 20% off food to wristband holders. Alternatively, you have a city full of amazing food all around you. Check out the Manchester vegan food guide in the programme if that’s your flex!
VENUES
Everyone at MPF can not watch the same band. We are multi venue and rely on split crowds to make it work. If there is someone you just can’t miss, get there early. Capacity complaints will fall on deaf ears as the total venue capacity of MPF has room for everyone and some left. We’ve warned you.
LABELS
TNSrecords, Pookout Records and Lockjaw Records are pitching up at The Union. If you can afford to please support them, they are 3 of the best labels in the UK currently.
WARM UP GIG
We have 4 awesome bands playing on a Thursday 14th at Rebellion. Tickets are available here: https://anarchisticundertones.bigcartel.com/ Tickets go offline at 10pm tonight!
Your MPF ticket or band wristband does not gain you access to the warm up gig nor can you collect your wristband that night.
MERCH
Merch sales really help us and bands make this work. If you can afford to, please support us in that way too. We have also partnered up with new electronic merch store HAWKR to offer exclusive MPF merch only available on there. Pay for it on their app and it will be sent to your address. App available on APPLE and GOOGLE
COVID
We encourage the wearing of masks. Please be respectful of other people and let’s try and minimise any risk. Free disposable masks will be available at The Union, Bread Shed and Gorilla. Re-useable MPF masks are available at the merch stand in The Union. Please do a test before you arrive to be on the safe side.
COMFORT
You are more than likely going to walk a lot. Wear some comfortable footwear or you’ll know about it by Sunday.
RESPECT
Respect each other, respect all staff, respect the venues. No one likes a dick head. If you have street beers, please tidy up after yourselves.
